Match it with napkins (no need for rings, a fold'll be fine) and you're well on your way.

Fresh flowers - is there a better smell in the morning? A new pot of coffee, maybe. Still, the good thing about morning is you don't have to choose. Set them up in a stylish vase and let the natural beauty fill the room. We'd recommend lavender or roses to really awaken the senses.

When it comes to picking your plates and choosing your cups, it's best to pick pieces that match. Experimentation's all well and good but you can't wrong with cohesion. Minimalism, maybe with a subtle accent - let the food be the focus.

With the first meal of the day, it’s all about getting the basics right - bowl atop plate, fork to the left, knife & spoon to the right. (It’s early, so to make it easy to remember - fork has four letters, like left; spoon and knife have five letters, like right). You don’t need anything you’re not going to use, and no one needs to be confounded with a fish knife after waking up.
