JJ fell in love with bamboo at the Anji Forest Park in China (where they filmed some of Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, if you've seen it). The mountains, lakes and rivers of the park are a tribute to bamboo, and nature itself. When used in design, we think bamboo feels even more natural than wood, since it retains its shape, form, texture and usually colour to an extent. This makes bamboo pieces great for bright & natural interiors. Lots of house plants growing in the window, that kind of interior.
We won't limit you to that though, obviously. At the end of the day, this stylish cutlery set will look great with all kinds of plates & serving trays. Especially the bamboo rim plates we stock in our collection... Just a thought.
