A Candleholder of moulded metal: a late Baroque design paying homage to deluxe decorator Dorothy Draper.
Hand-forged metal forms the orchid bulb, crafted with care and painted in Italy. The design is delicate and the pattern playful, but adding a candle is where the magic happens. The shapes give a rococo glow, resulting in flickering patterns dancing upon the wall, exuberant and exciting. They give a bit of Hollywood Regency befitting Hollywood royalty.
Fewer artists had more fun than Draper. She delighted in design writ large across the home - her sense of style always sought to be big and bold.
