Inspiration
Hand-forged metal forms the orchid bulb, crafted with care and painted in Italy. The design is delicate and the pattern playful, but adding a candle is where the magic happens. The shapes give a rococo glow, resulting in flickering patterns dancing upon the wall, exuberant and exciting. They give a bit of Hollywood Regency befitting Hollywood royalty.
Fewer artists had more fun than Draper. She delighted in design writ large across the home - her sense of style always sought to be big and bold. Her passion for contrasts (yet with an acute awareness of balance) allowed her to mix high and low, then and now, light and dark.
