Inspiration
This silver jar & spoon set gives breakfast a little extra jazz. Depicted in modern media, mealtimes in Georgian Britain all seem to be either raucous & merry, or quiet, austere affairs. Both have their time & place, which do you prefer? For JJ, this glass rings of Regency England, with its understated silver finish and noble stag head ornamentation. That said, however, the design is simplistic enough that it could be persuaded to work alongside a plethora of styles and colours. But what should we keep in it? JJ uses hers for jam at breakfast and for mint jelly at supper, while her Italian friend uses it for grated parmesan. Of course, it’s really just a case of “whatever you see fit”.
